Despite cloudy skies and even a few downpours, our first ever Trunk or Treat was a great success. More than 30 children in fabulous costumes enjoyed an afternoon of fun and games. 17 parishioners elaborately decorated their cars and filled their trunks with candy and other goodies for the children.
I would like to thank the OLGC Parish Council Youth Ministry for their hard work on this event. A special thanks to Darren Christensen, Brian Stankus and the Knights of Columbus for assisting with traffic and parking lot logistics and to Brayden Spina, one of our Confirmation students, for helping with set-up and coordinating games.
