Pilgrims of Hope: Pope Francis – Declares 2025 a Year of Jubilee

Holy Years, traditionally celebrated in the Church every 25 years since 1300, are opportunities for Catholics throughout the world to make pilgrimages to Rome and other holy places, accompanied by special prayers, indulgences, reconciliation and remission of sins. The Diocese of Trenton will celebrate the Holy Year with spiritual events and activities in the Diocese throughout the coming year. More will be announced about those activities in the coming months.

2025 Jubilee Year of Hope a year to renew your faith and receive God’s grace. The Holy Doors at St. Peter’s Basilica will open December, 24 2024 and will close January 6, 2026.

Francis House offers time, space and quiet for naming the graces of 2024 and expressing gratitude to God. The day will focus on our goals, hopes and desires for 2025.
